Taking Resonance is an interactive installation built around a simple question: how personal can a thought really be if someone else recognizes themselves in it?

The piece presented visitors with hundreds of removable tags, each containing a line pulled directly from my journals, diaries, and personal reflections written during a complicated period of my life. Visitors were invited to read through them, take whichever words resonated, and leave without ever being told who wrote them.

I intentionally left my name off the installation and designed the interaction to happen asynchronously. There was no explanation to perform for, no author waiting for a reaction, and no expectation that participants share why they chose what they did. As the wall gradually emptied, private thoughts became anonymous points of connection.

The project explores the strange universality of experiences we often consider deeply individual: even our most specific, messy, or difficult thoughts rarely belong to us alone.
